According to reports, the mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, is thinking of keeping migrants in a closed jail in the Hudson Valley. According to an audio recording acquired by Politico, Obama discussed the notion with county officials on Thursday as New York City tries to secure housing for the thousands of more asylum seekers scheduled to come once the federal border regulation Title 42 expires.
