Scott Baio went on Jesse Watters’ show to explain why he left ‘third-world country” California and moved his family to Florida. Baio said he watched Southern California change for the worse over the last number of years and it was time to get out.
He said: “I’ve been in California a very, very long time, and it’s so sad to me. I’ve got family, and I’ve got friends there, and I didn’t want to leave, but I’ve been pretty much forced out.
“I would vote for a Democrat if they were going to fix some of this stuff. I would. But I don’t think the other side would ever vote for a Republican to fix it. And, Jesse, I’m telling you, it’s bad.”
He said he watched Southern California turn into a “third-world country, between the homeless defecating on the sidewalk, doing drugs on the sidewalk in the middle of the day, illegal aliens all over the place, laws means nothing, crime is out of control, graffiti on everything and all my tax dollars I don’t know what they go for.”
He said earlier in the week to considerable backlash from the left:
“After 45 years, I’m making my way to finally ‘exit stage right’ from California.
“The most recent survey conducted by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority found approximately 69,000 people experiencing homelessness in L.A. County and 41,000 in the city in 2022.”
Twitter users attacked Baio saying he won’t be missed and tossing other insults at him but he hut them all down. He said:
“Maybe not, but they’ll certainly miss the high taxes I pay.
“My 6300 square foot home in Ca and my other La Quinta home both require more than one bag for you to pack up for me, shithead
“I’m 62.5 with two pensions. That is called retirement!
“Yes, grandpa! I’m very blessed to be unemployed and retired at this age and I’m greatly enjoying my life!
“Hey soy-boy, you’re following me that’s how you’re seeing my tweets, dumbass!
“Let’s talk about this…….“Chachi is broke, unemployed, is washed up, & probably homeless” ~ signed Twitter trolls.
“I finally defend myself backed by facts.
“Chachi is such a bragging POS because he talks about his homes & multiple pensions” (from 50yrs of work) ~ Trolls.”
