Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin got a storybook ending to his tragic ordeal and has been cleared to return to the football field four months after suffering an on-field cardiac arrest and being resuscitated while millions watched.
Hamlin captivated the nation by doing the impossible, bringing people together and closer to God. He handled it all with grace keeping the spotlight on the harities he supports rather than hogging it all.
Bills general manager Brandon Beane made the announcement that Hamlin is fully cleared to play in the National Football League: “They’re all in agreement. It’s not 2-1 or 3-1 or anything like that.
“They’re all in lock step with what this was and that he is cleared to resume full activities just like anyone else who was coming back from an injury or whatever.
