There is little doubt that Keanu Reeves is open to appearing on “Yellowstone.” The future of “Yellowstone” is still up in the air due to reports that Kevin Costner would exit the program. Matthew McConaughey is rumored to be in negotiations to star in a new spin-off series if he does.
Fans may now add another well-known name to the list of celebrities who may be interested. According to Fox News, the star actor said “Yeah, yeah sure” when asked if he would play a “surprise part” on the show by ET Canada.
The fact that Reeves has acted in action movies like “John Wick” and “The Matrix” shows that he wouldn’t hesitate to exact revenge on the Dutton property. Once more, no one really knows what will happen to “Yellowstone.” Everyone who swears they do besides Taylor Sheridan and Kevin Costner is definitely lying.
Never before have we witnessed one of TV’s biggest hits just completely disintegrate. Really, the only thing that matters is whether or not Costner comes back. If he does, Sheridan will probably wrap up the situation quickly and eliminate John Dutton nevertheless.
There are no guarantees if he doesn’t. You might as well phone Keanu Reeves at that moment to see if he’s interested in speaking with you. It’s impossible to have too much star power.
Given his talent as an actor, Reeves should definitely try his hand at a western.
The good news is that it doesn’t appear likely that “Yellowstone” will entirely collapse. For argument’s sake, let’s assume that Sheridan could easily carry on the world if Costner were to completely disappear.
Indeed, one could even argue that eliminating John Dutton would be quite wise. If Sheridan chooses to go in that way, Keanu Reeves or Matthew McConaughey would make great new leads.
In either case, it seems unlikely that “Yellowstone” would just stop. Simply said, there is still much too much money to be made.
