In response to inquiries regarding a potential 2024 presidential bid, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) said he will have answers in a few months.
The governor appeared on Fox News’ Hannity, where host Sean Hannity went over his track record and gave him a chance to address criticism from the left. At the conclusion of the discussion, Hannity questioned DeSantis on reports that he will be running for president in 2024.
“Tomorrow is my State of the State address. A fantastic legislative session is about to begin. Many people were swept into office by us. That validates the work we performed over the past four years “He answered.
“An opportunity exists. We have our lasers trained on that “said he. “Please wait a few months. We will record several victories and be in a stronger position to decide our course of action.”
Hannity then questioned DeSantis about if he was even considering running for president.
“It’s fair to say that I frequently receive requests for this from people who approach me. I am really adept at focusing on the work at hand and putting one step in front of the other “explained DeSantis. “I have a task to complete here. We’ll look as soon as we move past it.”
DeSantis has swiftly emerged as many conservatives’ favorite for the 2024 presidential election. It’s anticipated that he will make his candidacy known later in the summer.
