American officials are worried that China won’t follow orders and would ultimately provide deadly aid to support Russia’s conflict with Ukraine. The Biden administration has repeatedly warned Beijing since the start of the war, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Wang Yi, China’s top diplomat, on Saturday during the Munich Security Conference. I do have a pertinent question however. If the US and its allies can supply weapons to Ukraine, how come China can’t do the same with Russia? Double standard.

In an interview with CBS Sunday morning, Blinken stated, “We’re very concerned that China is considering offering lethal support to Russia in its aggression against Ukraine and I made plain that that would have major ramifications in our relationship.” Behind the scenes, US officials seem to have similar worries.
China is attempting to “crawl up to the line without getting caught,” according to a source familiar with the intelligence on the country who spoke to NBC News.
According to the story, CNN also spoke with US officials who stated there are “disturbing” tendencies that point to China’s backing for Russia but did not elaborate.
According to the meeting report from the Department of State, “on Russia’s barbaric assault against Ukraine, the Secretary [of State] cautioned about the ramifications and repercussions if China gives material support to Russia or assistance with systemic sanctions evasion.”
According to The New York Times Blinken added that the US would soon make public intelligence indicating that Beijing is seriously considering supplying lethal help during the “Meet the Press” interview.
Early in March of last year, only a few weeks after Moscow started its offensive against Ukraine, President Joseph Biden had cautioned Xi Jinping, the leader of China, against providing “material support” to Russia.
The same cautions are being repeated by Biden’s cabinet as the Ukraine conflict approaches its one-year mark.
“Any moves by China to provide military support to Russia will only reward aggression, extend the killing, and further undermine a rules-based order,” Vice President Kamala Harris said at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday.
According to the NBC News story, US officials suspect China may have offered Russia concrete support in the form of non-lethal military assistance. The officials would not elaborate on the potential assistance China may have given, but they did say it might have included uniforms or body armor for the anticipated spring onslaught.
Already, Russia’s offensive against Ukraine is supported by technology from China. According to The Wall Street Journal, DJI, a Chinese company that makes small, civilian drones, continues to be utilized to more effectively target Ukrainian military. DJI stated in a statement to The Journal that while it opposes drone usage in combat, its goods “may be purchased in e-commerce stores and retail in many nations.”
Cutting off the money that goes to China is the only way to hurt it. Because the USA caused this disaster over many years, we are becoming more and more dependent on China, and our imports from China are increasing. Although everyone anticipated this outcome, it seemed too wonderful to be true. As usual, we’ve been kicking the can down the road, and the moment has come to make amends. This situation cannot be avoided. The West is no longer capable of supporting itself. Your economy will collapse if you cease doing business with China in a matter of months, and your Chinese counterparts already understood this because they are engaged in a long-term strategy.
Putin is a neighborhood bully, while the CCP is an international bully, so it doesn’t care what the free world thinks of it. But if the CCP provides lethal military aid to Russia, its access to the Western markets will end, leading to its economic demise.
According to the firm, “We cannot stop people or organizations from making purchases outside of Russia and Ukraine and then transshipping them or giving them as gifts to Russia and Ukraine.”
Looking back, it’s just more of the same pointless rubbish that the American government spreads. given that China is the exclusive supplier of the US military. Our military apparatus depends on China, particularly their IC technology; the US will never produce such high-end items. never scaleable. Russia, I suppose, is equally dependent on China, but they don’t disparage their suppliers openly. Additionally, the American war machine supports the Wagner group and the Ukrainians with weapons, effectively hedging its war bets and burning both ends of the candle at both ends. The US also wants to build additional mini-nuclear facilities that are dependent on Russia.
My argument is that the US is not in a position to instruct China. We may have just destroyed their weather balloon, taken it, and attempted to steal their technology, acting more like a pirate than a neighbor. To top it all off, we must go hat in hand and ask for a financial and societal lifeline because as a country, we must borrow enormous sums of money just to afford wars against the very people we despise. Silly. Thank you for attempting to keep the news accurate, and also for giving me the chance to express my opinions. Also, I believe that the US should promptly restore China’s property, apologize, and pay the charges; but, given that the US is bankrupt, this will likely require bartering.
