Kayleigh McEnany, cohost of Fox News’ “Outnumbered,” got the last laugh on soon to be ex Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot after Chicago rejected Lori last night.
Kayleigh responded to Lightfoot’s historic loss by reminding Lightfoot of an exchange they had on social media.
When she was White House press secretary in 2020 she called Lightfoot the “derelict mayor of Chicago” for her mishandling of Chicago’s crime wave.
Lightfoot fired back saying to McEnany, “Hey, Karen. Watch your mouth.”
Kayleigh said after the loss:
”This didn’t age well, Lori.
“Lori Lightfoot lost her election.
“Perhaps she should have woken up when I referred to her as the ‘derelict mayor of Chicago’ from the White House podium for ignoring victims of crime in her city!
“Instead, she said ‘Hey, Karen. Watch your mouth.’”
A Twitter user piled on saying:
“Lightfoot was crushed in tonight’s Chicago mayoral race and didn’t even make the runoff.
“84% of Chicagoans voted against her. 84%!
“That level of incompetence is tough to pull off for an incumbent. Congrats to her.”
