Some spectators were upset by Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII halftime show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, earlier this month.
According to TMZ Sports, the Federal Communications Commission received 103 complaints regarding the Super Bowl LVII broadcast, with almost all of them focusing on Rihanna’s halftime show.

According to TMZ Sports, many of the complaints said that Rihanna’s lyrics and performance “were definitely too sexualized.”
One viewer commented, “I don’t care what someone worships, but kids shouldn’t be exposed to pornography, and as an adult I don’t wish to see it. “Where has morality vanished? How about displaying self- and other-respect?”
The dancers who performed in Rihanna’s backdrop received the majority of the criticism. According to TMZ Sports, some viewers claimed the dancers’ actions “were obviously rude and absolutely improper for youngsters.”
The bulk of reviews for Rihanna’s first live performance since the 2018 Grammy Awards were good, with people like LeBron James, J.J. Watt, and Donovan Mitchell applauding the show. Rihanna performed at the Super Bowl halftime show.
