“Where has decency gone?” Rihanna’s Halftime Show Hit With Over 100 Complaints By ‘Disgusted’ Viewers

Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII halftime performance at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, left many viewers outraged. Some were so furious they took the extra step and lodged official complaints with the Federal Communications Commission.

The FCC received 103 complaints about the Super Bowl LVII broadcast with nearly all of them related to Rihanna’s halftime performance. Many of the complaints said that Rihanna’s lyrics and performance “were way too sexualized” while others complained about the backup dancers.

One viewer wrote: “I don’t care what someone worships but children shouldn’t be exposed to pornography and as an adult I don’t wish to see it. Where has decency gone? How about respect for others and self?”

“This year the halftime show was so indecent I had to turn off the TV because of the pornographic content.”

One viewer said: “She spread her a** cheek at the crack.

“She rubbed her pants where her labia were three times.”

According to The Daily Mail:

While Rihanna, 35, was the star of the show, many of the complaints were actually geared at the supposedly ‘overtly sexual dancing’ of her backup dancers, along with the sexual content of some of her lyrics.

In fact, some of the complaints were from viewers who thought the dance moves ‘were patently offensive and completely inappropriate for children.’
