Let’s be clear – Nancy Mace is a younger/smarter version of Liz Cheney. She hates the MAGA movement, but she’s smart… Like DeSantis, she’s an establishment flunky who reinvented herself, so she wouldn’t lose her job, but her tried and true “old ways” always sneak through. She can’t be trusted, no matter how many “Trey Gowdy-style” media moments she conjures up. So, based on all of that, I am very leery when I hear any news about her. So, while I will give her the benefit of the doubt when it comes to this particular story, I still don’t know if I trust what she’s doing 100 percent.
Like a typical politician, early on, Nancy tried to play both sides of the fence in the vaccine debate. She would go on Fox News and fluff off the vax, and then on the same day, she’d be on CNN praising it.
This bizarre two-faced approach to the vaccine happened back in 2021:
CBS News 2 reported that Congresswoman Nancy Mace has been making waves on social media after she was heard on both Fox News and CNN with differing opinions on the COVID-19 vaccine.
It came after the U.S. announced a ban on travel to South Africa over the newly identified Omicron variant. Rep. Mace appeared on Fox News early Sunday morning where she alluded to people contracting COVID-19 rather than getting the vaccine as prevention.
“One of the things the CDC has not done – and no policymaker at the federal level has done so far – is taken into account what natural immunity does, and that may be what we’re seeing in Florida. In some studies that I have read, natural immunity is 27 times more protection against future COVID infection than a vaccination,” she told host Jason Chaffetz on Sunday Morning Futures. “So, we need to take all of the science into account and not selectively choose what science to follow when we are making policy decisions.”
Mace, who represents South Carolina’s First Congressional District, later appeared on CNN where she told host and Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins that she has been a big supporter of vaccinations and other COVID-19 prevention methods.
When asked if she has been encouraging people in her community to get vaccinated, especially with the new variant, Mace answered by saying, “I’ve been a proponent of vaccinations and wearing masks when we need to. When we had the Delta variant raging in South Carolina I wrote an op-ed to my community, and I work with our state Department of Health.”
She went on to say, “I’ve run ads on encouraging my district to go and get vaccinated and when we have these variants and we have these spikes to take every precaution from washing your hands to wearing the N95 or KN95 masks more than the medical masks. There is a significant, statistically significant number of people that are protected from COVID when they wear these masks.”
So, now, Nancy has come out and claims she regrets ever getting the vaccine, because now she has suffered serious injury to her heart, and other issues, and doctors can’t explain why…
The Washington Times reported that Rep. Nancy Mace said Wednesday she had “great regrets” about taking the COVID-19 vaccine after experiencing unexplained medical difficulties following her second dose.
The South Carolina Republican made the revelations during a House Oversight and Accountability hearing focused on Twitter’s censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story ahead of the 2020 election and Twitter’s collusion with federal agents to suppress free speech.
Twitter’s former chief legal officer Vijaya Gadde, former deputy general counsel James Baker and former head of trust and safety Yoel Roth faced lawmakers for the first time since Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk, began releasing a trove of internal “Twitter Files” that showed the platform’s left-wing bent that fueled the censorship of conservative viewpoints.
Ms. Mace questioned the three witnesses on their decision to flag posts by Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford doctor who was critical of the government’s response to the pandemic.
“I, along with many Americans, have long-term effects from COVID,” she said. “Not only was I a long hauler, but I have effects from the vaccine. It wasn’t the first shot, but it was the second shot that I now developed asthma that has never gone away since the second shot. I have tremors in my left hand and I have the occasional heart pain that no doctor can explain.
I believe that this really happened to Nancy, don’t get me wrong… and I am very sorry that she’s dealing with injuries and sickness tat could have been prevented. But she’s an opportunist, and it’s the way she touts information, that causes me to be suspicious.
