LeBron James Posts Video Slamming Black History Month, Quickly Deletes

Los Angeles Lakers basketball star LeBron James shared and then quickly deleted a video of Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman calling for the end of Black History Month.

In the video clip, former CBS’ Mike Wallace asked Freeman, “Black History Month you find—?” “Ridiculous,” Freeman said. “You’re gonna relegate my history to a month? I don’t want a Black history month. Black history is American history.”

Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk posted the video that James’ shared. After LeBron deleted the post, Kirk said: “LeBron James shared a video I posted of Morgan Freeman saying we should get rid of black history month, then he deleted it. Why?”

Kirk’s organization, Turning Point USA, said, “It’s okay to express how you really feel @KingJames.”

In the full video, after Freeman said, “you’re gonna relegate my history to a month?” Wallace replied, “Oh, come on.”

“What do you do with yours? Which month is white history month?” Freeman asked. “Come on, tell me.”

“I’m Jewish,” Wallace said.

“Okay, which month is Jewish history month?” Freeman said.

“There isn’t one” Wallace said.

Freeman said: “Oh, oh. Why not? Do you want one?”

“No, no,” Wallace answered.

“I don’t either,” Freeman said. “I don’t want a Black history month. Black history is American history.”

At one ppoint Wallace asked Freeman how are we “going to get rid of racism.” 

Freeman fired back, “stop talking about it.”

Freeman said: 

“I’m going to stop calling you a white man. 

“And I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a black man. 

“I know you as Mike Wallace. 

“You know me as Morgan Freeman.”
