Does This Explain Liberals Obsession? Study Shows Unattractive people Are MORE likely to Keep Wearing Masks

The left loves all things COVID. They believe COVID is like Godzilla. It’s scary, but it’s also the “good monster” that took out the evil Orange Man Bad. So, anything to do with COVID is like a religion to these nutbags. Especially masks. They can’t stop wearing them. I’m convinced that liberals wear masks when they’re alone in the shower. And the kicker is, they don’t even work.

A new major study found that masks are basically pointless… of course they are. We already knew this. Honetsly, this whole “pandemic” was a lot of  “theatre.” The Washington Examiner reported that the authors of this new major study examined 78 different studies on the efficacy of different mitigation efforts such as masking, distancing, screening, quarantining, and hand-washing. How did these interventions affect the spread of the flu, COVID, or similar viruses?

Most important was what they had in common: They were all randomized controlled trials or at least cluster-RCTs. These are the gold standard for studies because they have the greatest chance of avoiding confounding factors. Non-randomized, non-controlled trials — for example, observational studies — can be compromised if, say, people become more likely to wear masks at times or places that already have higher rates of spread, or if people who wore masks were also more fastidious hand-washers.

So, what did the studies find?

For starters, hand-washing was effective in stopping the spread of these illnesses. That’s not surprising.

But here’s the most eye-opening finding: “Wearing masks in the community probably makes little or no difference to the outcome of influenza‐like illness/COVID‐19-like illness compared to not wearing masks.” In other words, masks didn’t do much — if anything.

The studies included were diverse. They covered epidemics as well as periods of low transmission. They covered rich countries and poor countries, suburban schools and inner-city neighborhoods, hospitals and villages.

Yep, that’s pretty much what we’ve been saying all along, and yet we were called “sCiEnCe deniers” for it.

Never forget or forgive that…

But don’t worry, liberals will keep wearing their masks, but they have a brand new, much more logical reason this time, thanks to a new study.

Because they’re ugly.

The Daily Mail reported that attractive people are less likely to keep wearing face masks in the post-Covid era, a study suggests.

Researchers conducted three questionnaires asking people about self-perceived attractiveness and mask-wearing intentions in various scenarios.

They concluded that young and middle-aged Americans who view themselves as attractive ‘believe wearing a mask hinders the opportunities to deliver a favorable impression to others’.

On the other hand, people who do not view themselves as attractive buy into the ‘mask attractiveness belief’ — that face coverings actually enhance their looks.

It comes after a major analysis found face masks made ‘little to no difference’ to Covid infection or death rates.

Initially used for anti-viral protection, the face mask has become one of the symbols of a fierce culture war in the US.

There has never been great evidence showing that masks are effective at preventing infections on a large scale, but that has not stopped officials from mandating them across the country.

Schools in Democrat states made face coverings an entry requirement for students as recently as this month, and the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) still recommends Americans wear them in places with high transmission levels like public transport.

So, the next time you see a liberal all masked up, you’ll understand why…and you can thank them, for doing a great service to the community, and covering their face.
