DeSantis Supposedly Has a “Trump Strategy”… Will it Work Against The Country’s Most Powerful Personality?

The rumors are swirling that Ron DeSantis is being successfully wooed by NeverTrump and the GOP establishment to take on President Trump, in an effort to try to beat him, and destroy the MAGA movement once and for all. Pretty much anyone who’s on the “inside” says this plot is 100 percent real. And I believe it is, why else would Trump be so angry? And why wouldn’t DeSantis come out and disavow all this, call Paul Ryan and Jeb! globalists, and endorse Tump, the man who dragged his butt over the finish line when he couldn’t win against a bisexual crack-head crook?

Will Ron go though with it, or will he wise up and take a huge step back and wait patiently for his turn? He’s young. He can do this without GOPe and NeverTrump… Because if Ron does this, if he tries to take out Trump and MAGA, it will be the end of his career.

Mark my words.

In the meantime, President Trump is calling Ron out, and DeSantis is staying pretty quiet… and according to his NeverTrump supporters, that’s all part of the “magical” DeSantis “strategy.”

This piece in The Hill was written by a NeverTrumper named Joe Concha. Trust me, establishment and NeverTrump absolutely love DeSantis and they are out there pushing him incessantly.

That should be your first clue that there’s a problem.

Here’s what Joe says Ron DeSantis’ so-called strategy is with Trump:

And unlike some candidates in 2016, DeSantis has decided, at least for now, not to engage Trump down in the rhetorical mud while refusing to embark on a pointless pursuit of disproving Trump’s false claims.

Instead, the governor answered a question about his handling of COVID and lockdowns this way:

“When you’re an elected executive, you have to make all kinds of decisions. You got to steer that ship. And the good thing is, is that the people are able to render a judgment on that — whether they reelect you or not,” DeSantis said this week. “And I’m happy to say, in my case, not only did we win reelection, we won with the highest percentage of the vote that any Republican governor candidate has in the history of the state of Florida.”

DeSantis is being subtle and smart by avoiding Trump’s name while delivering a clear message: Check the scoreboard. He won in a 19-point landslide in November without Trump campaigning with him. Meanwhile, Trump’s big endorsements in key Senate races in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia and Nevada, all winnable races, lost, costing the party control of upper chamber.

The piece goes on to bash President Trump like a typical NeverTrumper would. Joe Concha sounds no different than the guys from The Lincoln Proect at this point. But that’s who’s backing Ron, and if you don’t think that’s weird, or a problem, something is seriously wrong with you.
