There’s a group of NeverTrumpers and “Chamber of Commerce” conservatives who are pushing the “DeSantis 2024” stuff, really hardcore on Twitter right now. These are people who likely hated Trump is 2016, but reluctantly voted for him in 2020 – maybe. It’s the “Ben Shapiro/Rick Wilson” crowd, and also, idiots like that alleged fraudster Bill Mitchell who are mainly pushing this divisive nonsense. But they’ve convinced a lot of people that it’s a good idea to take down Trump and crush the MAGA movement by voting for DeSantis in the primary.
That has to be the worse idea I’ve ever heard, but many on our side are either blind to what the establishment is doing, or they don’t care, because they hate Trump.
But all of that depends on if DeSantis runs. However, it seems like he’s planning on doing something big.
He actually hired the “Babylon Bee” and paid them over 20K to write “jokes” for him, so he can seem “funny.”
Authentic stuff…
And DeSantis, who’s young, and has all the time in the world to run for the WH, yet, he refuses to squash these divisive, selfish rumors, or disavow swamp scumbags like Paul Ryan, who has DeSantis as #1 on his list of favorite candidates.
Oh, and speaking of Globalist Paul, now we probably know why he likes DeSantis so much… these two are buddies, who go way back.
Big League Politics reported that before Florida Governor Ron DeSantis hitched himself to the Trump Train, he was an average establishment Republican in U.S. Congress. DeSantis’ statements early in his political career show his true ideological underpinnings.
In one video, DeSantis responded that former President George Bush was the “most inspirational person” he had ever met. DeSantis said that he met Bush while attending Yale. Both men went to the prestigious Ivy League school, and DeSantis rubbed elbows when Bush came back to visit in 2001.
Someone who admires Bush 41 and wanted to be Paul Ryan is definitely one of the good guys! https://t.co/NleKIRS6hs

In another video while DeSantis was on the campaign trail for U.S. Congress in 2012, he compared himself to Congressman Paul Ryan as an example of the type of “different” nationally recognized “leader” that he would become.
The case for #Trump2024
“I’d be somebody who would be different. I think you see that I’ve been recognized nationally as being somebody who’d be different, who’d be a leader, who could be somebody like PAUL RYAN very quickly.”

Yes, people change, that’s perfectly normal and acceptable — as long as they’re sincere.
But what isn’t genuine or acceptable is when establishment politicians do it so they can ride a new wave. They’re always reinventing themselves, like Lindsey Graham, but they keep all their old establishment buddies close, and that’s what makes DeSantis so dangerous as a presidential candiate.
He’s always been an establishment “Paul Ryan” guy. He even backed Rubio in 2016. But as soon as he saw Trump was going to win, he quickly changed gears and rebranded himself.
DeSantis is doing a fine job as the FL governor.
Stay in Florida, Ron, and figure out a way to ditch your scumbag friends and then run for the White House.
Also, i’s time to actually change, and stop playing the “reinventing” and “flip-flop” game, over and over again.
