House Republicans voted to remove Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee over past controversial comments she made about Israel and concerns over her objectivity and the Dems had a meltdown.
The resolution, introduced by Rep. Max Miller, R-Ohio, stated that Omar “has disqualified herself from serving on the Committee on Foreign Affairs, a panel that is viewed by nations around the world as speaking for Congress on matters of international importance and national security.”
Rashida Tlaib broke down in tears during her speech defending Ilhan Omar against being removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee. Rep. Cori Bush said: “The white supremacy happening is unbelievable.
“Ilhan Omar has been harassed at her job for simply existing as a Muslim woman in Congress.”

AOC said:
“One of the disgusting legacies of 9-11 has been the targeting and racism against Muslim Americans and this is an extension of that legacy.

Omar said she is not going anywhere if she is removed:
“It’s not only a political stunt, but also a blow to the integrity of our democratic institution and threat to our national security.
“My voice will get louder and stronger! My leadership will be celebrated around the world, as it has been!”
“Rep. Omar certainly has made mistakes,” Hakeem Jeffries said.
“Ilhan Omar has apologized. She has indicated that she’ll learn from her mistakes, is working to build bridges….with the Jewish community.”
