Hollywood star Alyssa Milano caved after facing a massive backlash for bullying pop star Britney Spears. It is possible she feared losing access to her precious social media accounts may which caused her to reach out privately and apologize to Spears.
Online bullying gets you an immediate ban on social media, if you are a conservative, but as liberals play by a different set of rules her apology may have been genuine.
According to TMZ: “Alyssa Milano has extended an olive branch to Britney Spears after being publicly called out by the singer … TMZ has learned. A rep for the actress tells us Alyssa reached out to Britney privately Wednesday to apologize after BS took to Instagram to slam a tweet of Alyssa’s that she considered “bullying.”
“As for how AM got the message across … Brit sources tell us she sent a private message Britney’s way this morning.”
Spears went public with the bullying posting a screenshot of Milano’s tweet that said, “Someone please go check on Britney Spears,” on her Instagram Stories. Spears added a caption ripping Milano calling the post “a form of bullying.”
Spears said, “It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me!!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying. Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down.”
Spears also called out fans who called the police to her house for a wellness check after she made a post on social media.
She said:
“I shut down my Instagram because there were too many people saying I looked like an idiot dancing and that I looked crazy.

“Yep it hurt my feelings. I’m sensitive.
“It really was uncalled for.
“I adore my fans but those who did that aren’t real fans and I honestly felt like it was a way to make me look bad !!!”

“I’m alive, fine, healthy, and ready to start a new day – a new morning anew !!! To my real fans, God bless you !!!”
