I am not really sure why Andy Cohen had unpopular loser Chris Wallace on his “Who’s Talking” Bravo show. That had to be his lowest-rated show yet. After all, even while he was on Fox News, Chris regularly had the lowest-rated show out of everyone. So, you can imagine how bad it is over at CNN, right? It’s so bad that industry insiders are shocked that Chris Licht didn’t hand Wallace his walking papers over the bad ratings.
But he didn’t, and they’re still pretending like Chris Wallace is some popular guy.
He’s not.
But that doesn’t stop the Stage 5 TDS victim from mocking his former Fox News hosts….
Bizpacreview reported that CNN’s Chris Wallace may delight at the chance to trash talk his former Fox News colleagues, but the record shows who really had the last laugh since his departure.
Radio and TV host Andy Cohen joined Wallace for the latest installment of his program “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” where, knowingly or not, the former “Fox News Sunday” anchor talked himself into playing a game of “Plead the Fifth.”
Radio and TV host Andy Cohen joined Wallace for the latest installment of his program “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” where, knowingly or not, the former “Fox News Sunday” anchor talked himself into playing a game of “Plead the Fifth.”
However, Wallace went on to clarify that his ever so brief moment of hysterics was his way of insulting his former team and he said, “No, no, no, I just mean that. It’s a very hard, it’s hard to distinguish.”
“There’s a lot to parse out there,” Cohen agreed before going on to ask the remaining questions.
While who Wallace might have less than warm-fuzzies for remains unknown, what can be quantified is his own laughable performance when compared head-to-head with his former cable network home.
Data from Nielsen Media Research found that when comparing the highly promoted premier of his new CNN interview program, to which the publicity included appearances on late night TV and a profile in the Los Angeles Times, “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” couldn’t even surpass half a million viewers.
Topping out at 462,000 with 58,000 of those in the highly coveted 25-54-year-old demographic, Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Night in America” hosted by Trey Gowdy trounced the 7pm timeslot raking in nearly three times as many viewers at 1,279,000. Percentage-wise, Gowdy’s 72,000 in the previously mentioned age bracket left Fox with a 24 point advantage and, when looking at a breakdown of 18-49-year-olds it was even greater matching 59,000 viewers to 41,000 amounting to 44 percent.
Watch:
Wallace says he left Fox News because he couldn’t support the programming… but I guess he’s okay with all the lies and fake news on CNN. That makes sense, doesn’t it?
