Republicans have been urging President Joe Biden to visit the border with Mexico for the past two years. They wanted Biden to confront the effects of his border policy in the real world and the hardship it has put on people not just in the border states but across the nation. Now, the GOP has gotten what it wanted; on Sunday, Biden traveled to El Paso, Texas, to visit the border.
