Oh, you’re gonna love this one, let me tell you… Steve Bannon has come up with the best solution for the House speaker situation, and I wish it would happen…and apparently, Trump is “intrigued” by it. So, what does Steve propose? He says, if we don’t have a speaker yet, just make Trump the speaker for the next 100 days…Genius, right? Can you imagine what Trump could do with that kind of power for 100 days? Oh lord, it’s be glorious to see that unfold.

Here’s the latest on the House speaker fiasco:
Representative Kevin McCarthy of California on Thursday was on track to lose the 10th vote for the speakership, even after offering fresh concessions to a hard-right band of G.O.P. rebels in a desperate effort to lock down the votes in the House. The chamber has been deadlocked for a third day at the start of the Republican rule.
Mr. McCarthy by Thursday had privately agreed to more demands from the right-wing dissidents after losing six consecutive votes in the 118th Congress’s first two humiliating days. He embraced measures that would weaken the speakership considerably and that he had previously refused to countenance. One would allow a single lawmaker to force a snap vote to oust the speaker, according to three people familiar with the negotiations who described them on the condition of anonymity, noting that they were ongoing and that no deal had been reached.
But there are rumors out there that they actually either have closed a “deal” or are very close. Take a look:
This tweet is from author and ver “politically connected guy” Larry Schweikart:
“1) SPEAKER: Here is what I just got from a very conservative, pro-MAGA congressman re the situation. 2) The claim was that, for want of a better term, the “rebels” wanted rules changes. 3) According to Cong. X, McCarthy agreed to take the # of a motion to vacate down to one;”
4) already agreed to limiting any role in primaries; 5) agreed to put them on the rules committee 6) Agreed to 36 rule changes in total. “A lot of things all of us agreed on. This is literally everything they’ve asked for. You ask them what more then want & they literally . . .

And we also heard that those negotiations are being led by President Trump. Sebastian Gorka had this great idea:
“President Trump should come to Congress. To broker a deal on the Speakership. Tomorrow. You know, on January 6th.”

The left would absolutely lose their ever-loving minds, and wouldn’t that be fun to watch again?
