The House of Representatives was unable to obtain the 218 votes necessary to elect a House speaker after two days and six rounds of voting. Republicans have been divided in their support for Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), whereas Democrats are united in their support. However, the GOP has a fantastic chance thanks to this impasse. Republicans should support Rep.
