We love President Trump, and we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes, or in the shadows of the DC Swamp, so sometimes, when he supports certain people, the base gets confused, or angry. But honestly, who knows what’s really going on? One of those people is Kevin McCarthy. And while President Trump may trust him, or may not, and might just want to keep him “close” for other reasons, the MAGA base does not. They see Kevin as a backstabbing establishment stooge, who walks the “fence” on almost every issue and sabotages the America First agenda behind the scenes. And I agree with them. I can’t stand McCarthy. He’s part of the McTraitors: McConnell, McDaniel, and McCarthy.
The trifecta of globalist doom.
So, now that things in the House are heating up and the speakership is hanging in the balance, as hardcore MAGA forces try to takedown McCarthy, President Trump, who supported him and even called on dissenters to “stand down” and support him as speaker, appears to be reconsidering. Maybe a change of heart?
That’s what it sounds like, anyway.
Breitbart reported that former President Donald Trump did not say if he is still standing by his endorsement of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for speaker of the House, adding, “we’ll see what happens,” after McCarthy failed to clinch the support necessary for the position in three separate votes on Tuesday, according to a report.
NBC News senior Capitol Hill correspondent Garrett Haake reported in a pair of tweets that he spoke with Trump on the phone Tuesday night and asked if he still backs McCarthy. Trump responded by saying, “We’ll see what happens,” without explicitly reaffirming or withdrawing his support of McCarthy.
When I asked directly if he was sticking by McCarthy, who did not clinch the gavel today after three floor votes, Mr. Trump told me “we’ll see what happens,” and ended our conversation.

President Trump is notorious for standing by his base and listening to them, so that could be what’s happening here.
Personally, I am concerned about what’s happening. Not because I want McCarthy as the speaker or anything crazy like that. I just wish we would have a solid plan to take him out. All we needed was one strong guy, who stood among the rest and said, “I want this job because a), b), c),” etc., and rallied everyone to his cause. That didn’t happen, and I worry it could bite us in the end. But like President Trump says, “We’ll see…”
However, the one thing I like is knowing that the RINOs in the party are shaking in their boots right now, and that’s never a bad thing.
