Former President Donald Trump claimed Melania Trump put up better Christmas decorations in than White House than Jill Biden. Trump shared an article by the Western Journal on Truth Social that made the case that Melania’s decorations were better because of her “glamor and impeccable taste.”
The media of course trashed whatever Melania did in the White House including her Christmas decorations causing Trump to say earlier:
“I remember she made these magnificent red trees, and the media said, ‘Oh, that’s terrible.’ I said, ‘Honey, next time, try white.’ She made magnificently — remember, the most beautiful you’ve ever seen — white trees.
“And they said, ‘Oh, that’s terrible.’ I said, the next time: ‘Let’s do it more traditionally. Let’s go with green.’
“We went with beautiful green trees, and they said: ‘Why wouldn’t you make them white like they used to be?’
In a candid and private moment, Melania Trump expressed exasperation with media complaints telling her ex-staffer (who recorded and released Melania comments):
“I’m working my ass off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a fuck about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?”
According to The Western Journal:
First lady Jill Biden has overseen some good White House decorating last year, and again this year.
But it cannot compare to what Melania Trump produced while she was in the White House.
This is not to be political, or overly critical of the decorating work of Joe Biden’s wife. And I make no claims of expertise in decoration or interior design.
It’s just that I know beauty when I see it, and Melania Trump added glamor and impeccable taste in presenting the people’s White House for the holiday seasons while she was there.
For comparison, let’s look at the Biden decorations of 2021 as the first lady makes a presentation via an official White House video.
Inspired by the acts of kindness and experiences that lifted our spirits this year, decorated rooms in the White House reflect the Gifts from the Heart that unite us all: faith, family, friendship, the arts, learning, nature, gratitude, service, community, peace, and unity. pic.twitter.com/fsaYFthIqH
