The deal is done, and Elon Musk will be the new owner of Twitter.
It’s an exciting time for people who don’t want to live under Chinese-style censorship. Although, it’s bad news for anyone who enjoys communist censorship, and that’s why the left is crying their eyes out right now.
We all know that Twitter and the left have gone bat-sh*t crazy when it comes to censorship. It started after the 2016 election and just got more insane after 2020, COVID, and January 6th. We were reaching levels of silencing and censorship that I was even shocked about — and it takes a lot to shock me.

So, while we’ve all been watching this absurdity, like President Trump being banned, and the limits on how you can speak about COVID — one wrong word, and your entire account could be wiped out, and don’t get me started on gender common sense, that would get you tossed in the gulag as well, many people are wondering what was “it” that finally drove Elon to say “OKAY, THAT’S IT… NOW I’VE SEEN ENOUGH…”?
Well, many people online think they know exactly when that happened and what drove Elon to finally throw his hands up and jump into the fray.
So, what was it, you ask?
Well, the Babylon Bee suspension…
Here’s what the Babylon Bee said about the suspension in a statement:
We received a notice from Twitter last night informing us that we’ve been locked out of our account for engaging in “hateful conduct.” Our crime? We jokingly selected Rachel Levine — a prominent transgender government official — as our pick for “Man of the Year.” (This was our satirical response to Levine’s being named one of the top women of the year by USA Today. Yes, that actually happened.)
We’ve been told our account will be restored in 12 hours, but the countdown won’t begin until we delete the tweet that violates Twitter Rules.
Here’s Twitter’s statement to the media regarding our account’s suspension: “The account you referenced has been temporarily locked for violating our hateful conduct policy. The account owner is required to delete the violative Tweet before regaining access to their account.”
Twitter could, of course, delete the tweet themselves. But they won’t. It’s not enough for them to just wipe it out. They want us to bend the knee and admit that we engaged in hateful conduct.
I can promise you that’s not happening. Truth is not hate speech. If the cost of telling the truth is the loss of our Twitter account, then so be it. We won’t compromise the truth just to keep our account.
So, many folks believe that it was this moment that was the “straw” that broke Elon’s back, and he said “enough,” I gotta do something.
Independent journalist and filmmaker Mike Cernovich was among the first to point out the Babylon Bee theory.
Here’s what he said: “It’s clear that the censorship of Babylon Bee played the biggest role in Elon’s decision. That was utterly indefensible. It’s easier justify unpersoning assholes. Swatting the Bee had no justification.”

That one move likely caused the complete dismantling of the Regime’s most trusted propaganda machine.
This is what the left is famous for though — they always push things too far and it ends up biting them in the butt.
I would say, this is one of the biggest BITES yet… and it has given the right its biggest victory since 2016.
