Emerald Robinson, a White House reporter for Newsmax, will be leaving the network at the end of next month, the conservative news outlet said on Tuesday.
Although Emerald remains with Newsmax, her contract with the network expires in January, and the network has decided not to extend it, according to a statement from the network. The job she has done on the network’s airwaves is well appreciated.
Robinson had a number of famous encounters with White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, with whom he regularly disagreed. However, it was her post in November that caused the most controversy, in which she claimed that Covid vaccinations included trackers.
In her letter to Christians, she explained that vaccinations contain a bioluminescent identifier known as LUCIFERASE, which allows them to follow their recipients.
“Read the last book of the New Testament to discover how this all comes to a close,” Robinson said.
She remained firm in her assertion, and as a result, she was permanently suspended from Twitter. According to insiders at the network, Robinson was on borrowed time after the tweet and that “the decision has essentially been taken” to fire her. Robinson’s show, Newsmax, looked to be pulled from the airways following the remark.
Robinson will be replaced by James Rosen, a former Fox News correspondent who left the network in 2017 following a string of sexual harassment charges against him. Rosen previously worked for the network.
According to Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy, Rosen is “not only a reporter’s reporter, but also a terrific thinker and author who is able to convey difficult problems on a television screen and explain them in easy and intelligible ways.”
Her resignation isn’t the only significant change at Newsmax in recent months. Recently, it was revealed by the network that Cortes & Pellegrino cohost Steve Cortes would be departing the show following a public fight with the network over the network’s Covid vaccination policy.
A vaccination and testing requirement, in accordance with the Biden administration’s policy, will be implemented, according to Newsmax. According to Cortes, “I will not cooperate with any organization’s attempt to impose Biden’s arbitrary & unscientific Medical Apartheid order,” as he put it on Twitter.
In his statement, Cortes did not appear to make any claims that the vaccination had a bioluminescent tracking device.
