Well, looks like Meghan and Harry are done trying to battle one of the biggest and most finely-tuned PR machines on the planet.
They’ve waved the white flag and want to have a meeting with The Queen.
The Sun reported that the Sussexes have offered to fly in to see the monarch — for the Duchess’s first return trip to the UK since March 2020’s Megxit.
One of the reasons the Palace didn’t want Meghan in the UK was because of how unpopular she is.
They were worried about her being “booed” in public and causing more embarrassment for the Royals.
But it appears that Meghan – who we all know is calling the shots – had Harry make “olive branch” calls to his family.
Meghan and Harry are planning a christening for four-month-old Lilibet, and it looks like they want that to happen at Windsor Castle.
But senior staff are said to be stunned by the request for a meeting, months after the couple blasted the Royal Family in a chat with TV pal Oprah Winfrey.
The monarchy is also braced for the release of Harry’s memoir next year, with The Sun on Sunday recently telling how The Queen’s aides were getting “lawyered up” against any new claims.
A source said: “Harry and Meghan have made this offer but a lot of people are shocked by the sheer nerve of it. They may genuinely want to see the Queen but it’s breathtaking given what they’ve put her through this year.
From the sounds of it, the family is still open to welcoming Harry and the kids, but not Meghan.
The piece goes on to say that Palace insiders said the Queen is still very fond of Harry and would love to see Lilibet and her brother Archie.
In addition, the piece says that courtiers are actually “surprised” by the move, especially from Meghan, after what has happened and everything that she’s “orchestrated” behind the scenes.
Meghan is literally the “wife” from hell – Harry is weak, and because of his “mum issues” is easily led around by the nose by a controlling and domineering woman.
