Over the past few days, we’ve watched Joe Biden crumble right before our very eyes.
Up until this point, it’s been a slow crumble – bits falling off here and there but quickly swept up before it all looked too messy.
Afghanistan has blown the lid off the Biden admin “sham” and if Joe were a boat, he’d be the Titanic, because he’s sinking at warp speed.
And everyone is turning on Joe.
Literally everyone, from his own employees to media, and Team Obama to the Republican neocons with Stage 5 TDS – it’s an all-out race to bring Biden to his knees.
Even Biden butt-kisser Chris Wallace has thrown in the towel on ol’ Joe.
He delivered a scathing piece on Biden’s incompetency and the overall mess that he’s created.
And while Chris does list a lot of things that went wrong over the past few days, one, in particular, caught my attention – and the way Chris phrased it, really made sense to me.
It was that picture from Camp David, Biden, sitting all alone at that big table – the “kickoff” of the chaos.
Being a former PR person, I know what his team was hoping to capture: a leader who was fully engaged and dialed into the situation, strong and resolute, even during his “vacation.”
A real “confidence booster” for the American people…
But that’s not the message that was received.
Not even close.
Check out with the New York Post said about that photo:
What possessed the White House to tweet out a photo of Joe Biden all alone in a conference room at Camp David as Kabul fell to the Taliban Sunday?
Isolated, feeble, indecisive: that is the lasting image of the president of the United States as his nation suffered the worst self-inflicted humiliation of its history.
In a polo shirt, a hippy bracelet on his left wrist and his right hand covering his mouth, the vacationing president looked every bit his 78 years as he sat alone at a vast table set for 18 absent advisers.
He stared at a distant screen showing American officials in eight locations conducting a video conference on the unfolding catastrophe in Afghanistan. None of the people on screen seemed to address him directly.
The commander-in-chief was an observer, not a leader.
Everything was wrong with the photo. Even the world clocks on the wall in front of Biden were inaccurate, having not been adjusted for Daylight Saving Time, a sloppy detail unbefitting a superpower.
This official White House image projected weakness at a dangerous time, when the eyes of the world are judging the extent of America’s decline.
What they saw was an old man on his own, his botched conceit in ruins at his feet.
And this is basically what Chrisstouched on as well, among other things.
Here’s what Chis said:
CHRIS WALLACE: It’s been a mess… You can talk about the messaging problem and certainly that’s an issue. But it’s really, it’s a reality problem. The problem isn’t what had happened in terms of Biden’s speech. I mean, that was bad, his first speech, the buck stops here, but he pointed fingers. I think the interview with George Stephanopoulos went badly. The pictures over the weekend of him sitting by himself at a big table at Camp David while all of his aides are at the White House, all of it was a mess. But in the end, it’s those pictures on the other side of the screen from me, the fact that that, you know, we have this airport secured, but we have no way of getting Americans and our Afghan allies from downtown Kabul or elsewhere in Afghanistan to that airport. And as long as that remains the situation, the president can make any speech he wants, get any interview he wants, it isn’t going to make any difference. That’s what people are focusing on, that Americans and American allies are unable to get to the airport and get to that hope and freedom on one of those C-17s.
And speaking of Chris Wallace – James Woods really said it best, didn’t he?
“When even Chris Wallace pulls his head out of Biden’s ass, you know Joe’s got problems.”

It’s truly amazing to watch the entire media turn their backs on Bumbling Joe.
They built him up, and now they’re tearing him down.
It looks to me like Team Obama is ready to make that ‘swap,’ even if Team Joe isn’t…we’ll see how long it takes for them to knock Biden out of the game – I don’t think he’ll go as easy as Governor Cuomo did – which was another “political hit” from Team Obama…
