President Trump is always a man with style. He knows how to make an entrance and an exit.
And as his bada** motorcade of black SUVs was rolling down the streets of midtown in Manhattan, you can’t help but be in awe, right?
It looks like a parade for the “Good Fellas,” and I mean that in the most tongue-in-cheek, yet affectionate way possible.
But one Trump supporter noticed something curious about the “parade.”
Take a look at the video, and see it dawns on you – it might not, but that’s okay…we’ll talk about it below.
You can watch the video below:
So, I have noticed this “curious” thing before with Trump and his security – I’ve thought about it, but I’ve never verbalized it.
So, when I saw this comment from a Trump supporter online, it got me thinking more about it.
Here’s what he said: “Does anybody else remember seeing this level of security in the past for any former President? I mean, sure they still have SS and extra police for Obama, Bush, Clinton, but we routinely see Trump w/ a 15 – 20 SUV motorcade with undercover and blocking vehicles and an ambulance van @ 0:16? Strange how Trump’s “post” Presidency is different.”
You don’t usually see this level of security or this type of massive motorcade for a former president…unless he’s literally in a parade.
As a s0-called “former president” here’s what Trump gets in way of security:
By law, “under the direction of the Secretary of Homeland Security, the United States Secret Service is authorized to protect” a former president and their spouse. Alternatively, presidents who do not receive Secret Service protection instead receive “up to $1,000,000 for each former President and up to $500,000 for the spouse of each former President each fiscal year for security and travel related expenses.”
That’s a lot of money for security, but that can go in the blink of an eye with a couple motorcades like this.
So, what gives?
Does Trump know he’s in so much danger from these Deep State ghouls that he’s shielding himself and paying for extra private security? Or, is he getting so many credible threats, that this type of security is actually needed and provided for him?
It’s an interesting point when you think about it – and one thing is for certain, many people believe that President Trump still looks and acts like our “president” because he actually is.
