During a press briefing on Thursday, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and White House chief medical adviser, warned a booster shot would be required for everyone “sooner or later.” This is to ensure solid protection from COVID-19 vaccines.
Fauci said, “As we mentioned, we are evaluating this on a day-by-day, week-by-week, month-by-month basis, looking at any of several studies, both international and domestic studies. If the data shows us that, in fact, we do need to do that, we’ll be very ready to do it and do it expeditiously.”
Now, even I know something ain’t right.
According to the latest CDC data, more than 167.1 million people, or 61.3% of U.S. adults, are fully vaccinated to date. The organization also contends that more than 196 million people have received at least one dose, 71.3% of adults.
Do you think people should allow risking the lives of those around them with their choices? Like, you are very unlikely to die in a car crash. Does that mean people should be allowed to choose to drink and drive since the chance that their actions could kill someone is almost nil?
I know an immune-compromised person who got the vaccine. It did not create antibodies, so it did not take. She is recovering from contracting a mild case of Covid. I would not call it a breakthrough because the shot did not take, from the beginning. If she contracted the Delta variant, it is not that severe by virtue of her experience.
Fauci is the last person to give us advice. He funded gain of function work at Wuhan Lab, where the virus was likely released knowing how dangerous it was. Hid his involvement and has flip-flopped repeatedly about how to stop it. We need a team of scientific, non-partisan experts to replace him. He has no credibility. Trump was right.
Then again, someone needs to ask Fauci and Walensky again how many of their employees at the CDC & NIAID have already received the vaccine. The last time they were at about a 50/50 split. That speaks volumes about this situation since they would have access to accurate information (unlike the general public).
I know; I discussed the pros and cons with my doctor and decided for the time being not to receive the vaccine. I am the type of person who does deep research and understands how crooked the federal government is. Not going to go conspiracy theory at this point, but it would be a juicy target.
I have an idea that should please everyone on both sides. Those scared of a microscopic bug with a 99.5 percent survival rate need to leave the US. Those of us that aren’t scared will remain in the US. According to the fraidy-cats, those of us that stay will all be dead within six months anyway. However, in the remote chance those of us who stay in the US survive, the fraidy-cats are banned from the US forever. Win/win.
There have been at least four new strains in a year. There will be many more. Is the CDC going to recommend (or should I say mandate) a new vaccination four times a year now?
Fauci is a political hack who pushes whatever message his boss tells him to. He doesn’t base his decisions on science; he says what he needs to remain the country’s highest-paid government worker. You do realize Fauci is paid more than the president of the United States, right?
