Nobody on earth can replace Rush Limbaugh, but somebody needs to step in and take over.
That’s what Rush would want and that’s what this movement needs.
We’ve never needed a voice of fire, fury, and reason more than we do now.
The powers-that-be have picked a “replacement” for Rush, and I have a feeling you’ll like it.
The man taking over Rush’s time slot is conservative powerhouse Dan Bongino.
Dan already has one of the top political podcasts in the nation, so this transition will be natural for him.
Bongino is a huge America First/Trump supporter and is also part owner of Parler.
I think he’ll do great.
Cumulus Media is finalizing plans to fill the hole on many of its conservative talk stations left by the death of Rush Limbaugh. Dan Bongino has reportedly been signed to host a Westwood One-distributed program, weekdays from 12-3pm.
Bongino currently hosts a podcast for the Westwood One Podcast Network. It earlier was repurposed as a one-hour syndicated radio program and airs on Cumulus news/talk KABC Los Angeles (790) and KSFO San Francisco (560), among other company stations. Outkick.com reports that the podcast will remain separate from the new three-hour syndicated radio program.
Westwood One did not reply to a request for comment on the Bongino report.
The news comes as Premiere Networks says it will continue to provide the voice of Limbaugh for the long-term and plans to launch a podcast series on the life of the conservative talk radio trailblazer. Immediately following Limbaugh’s Feb. 17 death, Premiere said it would continue to air its extensive library of audio content culled over the years of Limbaugh’s syndication “until his audience is prepared to say good-bye.”
I am really excited for Dan.
This isn’t about “being Rush,” it’s about Dan carving out his own style and carrying the torch that Rush lit.
We wish him well.
